Why Boko Haram Destroys Bridge Linking Nigeria To Cameroon.

Suspected Boko Haram sect members have destroyed a
bridge in Gambou Ngala, Borno State, which linked Nigeria to the neighbouring Cameroon.

The attack occured on the outskirts of Gambou Ngala
and claimed lives of at least 30 local residents, according to Sahara Reporters. The small bridge linked the immigration checkpoints of both Cameroon and Nigeria.

Nobody has claimed responsibility for this latest bombing attack, but residents of Gamboru Ngala strongly suspect Boko Haram.

On Monday, the area was hit by a devastating Boko Haram attack, leaving over 300 of village residents dead.

The latest bridge bombing took place on the day of a mass burial in the town. 315 of the 336 victims were buried in a solemn
ceremony led by civic and religious leaders .

Yesterday, six villages in the neighbouring Askira-Uba LGA of Borno State were assaulted and
ravaged by the terrorists.
