The international friendly between the Super Eagles and the Tartan Terriers has been confirmed will take on Scotland in an international friendly at Fulham’s Craven Cottage on May 28.
The game against the European nation will be staged six days before Stephen Keshi’s men face Greece in another warm-up match billed for Philadelphia in the United States of America.
“Playing Scotland at the end of several European leagues should help the players get to London easily,” NFF official match agent, Jairo Pachon told BBC Sport.
“This game provides big opportunities for the coaches, players and fans of the Super Eagles.
“It’s also an important opportunity for the coach to see some players before their big camp in the United States.
“Significantly, it will enable the Nigerian community in the UK and across Europe to see the team before the World Cup in Brazil,” he concluded.
Nigeria defeated Scotland 2-1 in Aberdeen, a game that formed part of the Super Eagles’ preparation for the Korea/Japan World Cup in 2002.
